Steel at 3 mm goes through material that turns a nylon spike, and the U shape spreads the hold across two legs instead of one shank.\n\nThe galvanising is the detail that decides whether you get them back. Electroplated pins come out of wet ground rusted and one use only; hot dipped ones come out clean enough to reuse for years.\n\nOne practical note: drive them at a slight angle away from the pull rather than straight down. A vertical pin lifts; an angled one has to shear the soil to move.\n\nDelivery is NZD 25 anywhere in New Zealand, and free once your order reaches NZD 100. That is the rate this shop actually charges, proven against its own checkout rather than read off a settings page.\n\nYou have 15 days to change your mind under this shop's own returns policy. New Zealand law gives no automatic cooling-off period on an online order, so that is goodwill rather than statute: the goods come back at your cost in resaleable condition and a $39 handling fee applies per order.
